Industrial Support

The FAAA has a skilled and experienced team of industrial officers who, together with FAAA representatives, are equipped to handle any dispute, breach, or issue related to the enterprise agreement.

As a member of the FAAA, you can be confident that you’re never alone when facing workplace challenges or advocating for fairer conditions.

Legal Assistance

Workers compensation, unfair dismissal, and disciplinary hearings are complex and serious matters that require specialised knowledge and experience. The FAAA’s legal team is here to support members with issues involving state or federal law, ensuring they have expert guidance when they need it most. At its core, it’s about looking after one another in our workplace.

Occupational Health and Safety

Your safety and wellbeing at work are paramount — you deserve to come home each day safe and healthy. The FAAA actively monitors and enforces safety standards through a range of mechanisms, including safety committees and provisions within the Enterprise Agreement (EBA).

If you ever need assistance, the FAAA helpline is available during office hours, and for urgent matters, our dedicated 24/7 emergency line ensures support is always within reach.

Negotiating Terms of Employment

The relationship between employees and employers is fundamental in any workplace. For us, this relationship is governed by the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), which provides vital protections such as guaranteed pay, safety standards, and leave entitlements.

A strong EBA not only safeguards employees but also supports the company’s growth, creating more jobs along the way. The FAAA negotiates EBAs on behalf of Australian-based cabin crew, with a highly experienced team skilled in industrial negotiations.
